You probably see thousands of leaves every single day, but did you know that each one is its own tiny work of art? So why not let the leaves do half the work as you make your own mini masterpieces?
you'll need:
a piece of A4 paper
a few colouring pencil
the leaves you collected
a flat surface to work on
Step 1
Head outside and collect some leaves with a variety of shapes and sizes.
Step 2
Take them home and pop a piece of paper over one of them.
Step 3
Press down quite hard with the side of a colouring pencil and rub all over the leaf. You’ll see the pattern of the leaf come through onto the paper.
Step 4
Try a bunch of interesting leaf patterns. You can even overlap some to make weird and wonderful collages.
Then stick them up on your wall and watch your friends and family admire them. Who needs a Picasso?
