It's not easy staying healthy these days. Especially when there are things like ice cream and armchairs in the world. We all know fruit and veg are good for us. The trouble is, most of us still aren't getting enough. In fact, more than two thirds of people in the UK don't eat enough fruit and veg.

Since 1999, we've been on a mission to help change that. Fruit and veg naturally contain vitamins, minerals, fibre and other plant goodness, which is why they're at the heart of everything we make. By squashing fruit and veg into tasty drinks, we hope to make it that bit easier for people to enjoy more fruit and veg as part of a healthy balanced diet. Nothing like drinking a smoothie on a bench to brighten your day.

our purpose

Since 1999, we've been on a mission to get more fruit and veg into people's lives. Today, our purpose remains the same: making it easier for people to live well through the delicious goodness of fruit and veg. Fruit and veg naturally contain beneficial nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fibre and plant compounds, which are an important part of a healthy, balanced diet. That's why they're at the heart of everything we make.

drinks made with real fruit and veg

We make our drinks using real fruit and veg, which naturally provide vitamins, minerals, fibre and other plant goodness.

no added sugar

We never add sugar. The sugar in our drinks comes naturally from the fruit and veg we use in our recipes.

Most of our smoothies are a source of fibre

All our smoothies are made from whole crushed fruit, so we’re aiming for every smoothie to be a source of fibre. That's especially important when we know most of us (90%) aren't getting enough fibre in our diets.

getting more fruit and veg

five a day

Smoothies and juices can be a convenient way to help you get more fruit and veg into your day, which is pretty handy given that x% of people in [market] don't eat enough fruit and vegetables. Different fruits and vegetables contain different nutrients, which is why eating a wide variety of colours and types is encouraged as part of a healthy diet.

There's a whole bunch of research showing that eating plenty of fruit and veg is associated with better health (2-5). That's one of the reasons why health experts encourage us all to eat fruit & veg.

Our juices and smoothies can be a convenient way to get some extra fruit and veg into your day, especially when life gets busy. Nature's kindly given us a whole rainbow of fruit and vegetables, so it's only polite to enjoy as many of them as you can.

Recognising the nutritional value of fruit & veg

Fruit and veg are consistently recognised by dietary guidelines around the world as an important part of a healthy diet. They provide beneficial nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fibre and plant compounds, and higher intakes are associated with better health outcomes (2-5).

We know cooking with fruit & veg can sometimes be a bit of a chore (watery spinach, anyone?) and we want to help take it to new tasty levels with a few simple recipes that are all at least 1 of your 5-a-day. We’ve teamed up with the Felix Project on some nutritious recipes that are packed with the good stuff and won’t make you want to have a packet of crisps afterwards.
