innocent campaign gets kids into the garden
Ready, Steady, Grow
This spring, innocent is aiming to get millions of kids outside planting and harvesting their own gardens. From March until the end of April, every box of its kids smoothies or fruit tubes will come with its own pack of easy to grow seeds.
There are six different varieties to collect including carrots, tomatoes, cress, basil, violets and sunflowers. Every pack will also include growing instructions, cut out and keep plant markers and plant facts.
The campaign will be supported by a new TV
advert and online activity. The innocent kids’ website (www.innocentkids.co.uk) will be transformed into the innocent
gang’s greenhouse, which will host activities, gardening tips, competitions from
our friends at Rocket Gardens and the Royal Horticultural Society and a gallery
for kids to upload photos of their plant’s progress. And by
buying a pack of our kids juicy drink (RRP £2.99) kids will be able to win
their very own Venus fly trap too.
Thomas Delabriere, Marketing Director at innocent, says ‘last year our kids business grew by 22% as a result of expanding our range with our juicy drinks and our communications to mums and kids. This new seeds campaign is going to maintain this great momentum – it’s an exciting campaign that helps to get the whole family out into the garden this Spring planting and harvesting fruit and veg that they’ve grown themselves. ‘
