this and that - a week in the life of the creative team

This week has been big. We've heard about a chimp in a hot tub, met a celebrity, experienced a natural phenomenon, been wooed and had a lookalike revelation.

1st up: Dan got Tansy some flowers for her birthday, but, worried this would cause anarchy and jealous rifts in the team, placated us with a rose each. Although a week in creative corner in a latte cup has taken its toll.

Next up a celebrity talking "extra naked". At the 1st Brains for Breakfast Louis Theroux enilightened us with Nietzsche quotes, shocked us with poo-throwing stories, spiced our day up with Chippendale based philosophies and wowed us with a pretty marvelous talk. (All before 10am)

3rd: Dan undid his diet. He ate all this pizza. Alone. No one else had any. At all. Not even one slice. Well except these two, who got in there quick.

All we got was this tiny mushroom. Which we had to share. Kinda undid all that flower buying.

Mini mush

Just one more thing before we go...

Designers Seb and Lewis?

Or is it Frodo and Samwise?

Over and out. Have a great weekend one and all.

Freddie for a day

Here we have Janel and Caroline literally 'rocking' moustaches for a day. It's all in aid of our 'Freddie for a Day' lunch to help raise money for The Mercury Phoenix Trust which helps AIDS charities.

Lunch costs £3 and everyone going will receive:
a) 1 x complimentary Freddy moustache
b) 1 x pilgrimage to Freddie's grave (which happens to be over the road from Fruit Towers)
c) 1 x lunch fit for a Queen in the chill out!

And don't forget if you use instagram you can follow us by searching for 'innocentsmoothies' and if you don't have an iPhone you can follow our feed here.

Brains for Breakfast

Brains for breakfast is an innocent enterprise that will bring a brilliant creative brain to Fruit Towers every month to teach us things.

Early in the morning, and over a bit of breakfast, our monthly speaker will share their knowledge, stories and advice with 35 hungry people who come along.

In our experience, listening to great people helps us do great stuff, that’s why Brains for Breakfast exists. To give us and 35 members of the public the chance to learn from creative people we admire. And to have bacon sandwiches at work.

We're very excited about our first ever Brains for Breakfast speaker.
Louis Theroux
is a documentary maker of note, and general all round interesting man. Louis is going to tell us why he does what he does, how he got started, and where he gets his ideas from. He may well even tell us what his favourite breakfast is.

When: Wednesday 14th September, 2011 - 8.30am - 10.00am (GMT)

Where: Fruit Towers, 342 Ladbroke Grove, London, W10 5BU

And here's a useful map in cast you get lost
(The entry gate is on Kensal Road. Just in case you thought you had to scale the fence.)

Tickets for the talk are £5 and you can get yours right here...
