small apples, big news

Right this instant.

Put down the apples, step away from the juicer and remove yourself from the kitchen theatre immediately because our apple juice is now available in little 330ml bottles. 110316_AJ_Bottle

You can find them in NISA and McColls stores right now, Starbucks from next week and Sainsbury’s from the start of November.

We’re so giddy with excitement that we’ve got 10 cases to give away.

All you need to do win one is tell us your best apple joke below.

And if you're very lucky, you might even get a signed photo of Janel, our resident opera singer and all round angel

Post your jokes by Monday 10th October and we'll announce the winners here next week.

This competition is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered. Big congratulations to Stephen P, Christine S, Andrena, Karen, Di, Clive, Rach, Jayne, Sara and Louise. Cases of apple juice winging their way to you very soon.

german monday

In case you missed it, yesterday was German Unity Day and the final day of Oktoberfest

German Unity Day is where everyone who lives in Germany has the day off work and gets to celebrate German reunification.

Or present in an international marketing meeting if you happen to be out the country

After finishing his presentation, Christian went off to have his shorts admired by hand

Whilst Lina just went back to her desk and got on with some work

breakfast burritos

Currently out in California, helping my friend Claire set up the first US Do Lectures at Campovida, right in the heart of the Mendocino hills.

Cycled down the very dodgy road today to get lunch from Hopland's equivalent of the Hungry Grassy Van and was pleased to note the common theme in menus (despite the lack of bunting, daisies and astroturf)

The Hungry Grassy Van is in Bristol till Weds 14th September serving breakfast, lunch and dinner before heading up to Manchester on Saturday 17th at Spinningfields.

So make sure you get there early for a breakfast burrito (and we'll compare notes after).

hungry grassy van hits the road

After weeks of stamping burger boxes, sprucing up the patchy bits of grass and making road trip compilation CDs, the Hungry Grassy Van is ship shape and ready to hit the road.

We're starting off in London this Friday at the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre from 9:30 till 14:30.

Then on Saturday, we'll be on Wimbledon Common, Church Road from 9:00 till 14:00 and then over to Windrush Square in Brixton from 15:00 till 20:00.

If you can't be bothered with the faff of a roast, pop over to Allen Gardens, Brick Lane on Sunday where the HGV will be from 10:00 till 18:00

Then we're back on the road up to Bristol, landing at the Science Museum on Tuesday 13th from 9:00 till 19:00.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled on the roads out of London and around Bristol as the HGV makes it way over. If you spot the van, make sure to tweet us @innocentdrinks using the #innocentHGV to be in with a chance of winning your very own copy of Hungry?

We'll keep updating the blog to let you know all the movements, pictures and tales from the road so keep checking back in to see where we're at over the next two weeks.

You can also keep up-to-date with HGV goings on over on our Facebook page here
