gavin's wallpaper competition

This is Gav. Gav looks after our big fridge, keeps our small fridges stocked up with smoothies for us to drink through the day and lets us all in every morning. Just like Conor used to do.

Gav has got a new project for you. He wants to cover our lockers in different bits of wallpaper as they're pretty boring at the minute. All you have to do is cut out a bit of left over wallpaper (everyone's got a bit somewhere or another) at 45cm by 45cm and send it to us here at Fruit Towers.

To make things a bit more exciting we're going to make it into a competition as well. For every bit or wallpaper you send to us, choose one of the lockers (a/b/c/d/or e) as shown behind Gav in the top picture. We've put a selection of random items in each along with 10 smoothies. Like this...

Then we jiggled them all about. If you can correctly guess which locker the smoothies ended up in we'll put your name in a hat and draw a winner who'll get all of the smoothies. It's a bit like The Generation Game but more low tech.

And to prove that we didn't cheat we've already filmed the winning box, we just won't show the end of the film until we draw the prize.

Just write your name, address, email address, contact number and the locker you think the prize is in on the back of your wallpaper and send it to us at this address by Friday February 29th.

Good luck.

spot the difference

The very observant of you may have already noticed that our new smoothie of the month comes with a variety of different labels (the New Year resolutions bit of it). We always try to change the words around the back as much as we can but this is the first time that we've had a series of different things on the front of our labels for one drink.

Keep your eyes out for them in the shops and see how many you can spot. 'Find treasure' is my favorite.

a llama, a wizard and a free day

Every now and then there's nothing we like more than to make little booklets. Here's our guide to having a slightly better 2007 along with a lovely guide to village fetes Kat did last year.

Whenever we make booklets we like to include all the latest interesting stuff about our drinks, the fruit we use and how we like to do business. But we also like to throw in the odd random thing like flying squirrels and fete bingo.

In this case it's a llama, a wizard, some beards and a whole free day in 2008. You can find out what it's all about right here.

this year I will...

Try something new? Climb Scafell Pike? Kiss Clive? We can't help with the second two we're afraid but we can definitely help with the first. How about our new smoothie of the month, beetroot, apples, pears and ginger. And if that's not enough newness for you we have an additional three spick and span* drinks coming out this month. Get a sneak preview of them here.

how do you make a smoothie innocent?

We're back on the telly again this month (as we hinted a few weeks ago) with our new ad 'how do you make a smoothie innocent?'

You can watch it above or watch it here if you'd prefer to see it a bit bigger and a bit better quality. It's all about our drinks and what makes them special (the fruit and the fine people who help us to find our ingredients and create our smoothies, in case you were wondering).

This version stars our friend Carlos from the Rainforest Alliance who has been helping us to find more and more Rainforest Alliance certified fruit, including bananas, pineapples and oranges. You can find out a bit more about how we work with the Rainforest Alliance here if you like.

We hope you like the ad. Let us know what you think if you have a second to spare.
