Number one for Christmas?

available now on iTunes

The innocent Big Knit choir's charity single "There's no-one quite like Grandma" is NOW available on iTunes. It's a mere 79p (the price of 2 apples or half a sandwich) and all of the money raised will go to the Big Knit charities, Age Concern and Help the Aged. Click here to download your copy today (and maybe get one for your Nan too).

Here's our new music video starring the very lovely June Whitfield, our friends over at Age Concern Camden and our very own Richard Reed.

If you want to get the latest news on The Big Knit Choir, then it might be worth joining our Big Knit Choir FaceBook group right there.

Here's an exclusive little peek behind the scenes of our Big Knit music video. Look out for the lovely Beryl, Jean and Carmen from Age Concern Camden, smothered in hats...

The primary school choir rose to fame with this song back in 1980, when their ode to grandmas everywhere got to number one at Christmas, knocking John Lennon off top spot to spend two weeks at the top of the charts.

To date, The Big Knit has raised over £600,000 for Age Concern. This year we’re hoping the Big Knit Choir single will help smash this year’s target of raising £250,000 for Age Concern and Help the Aged. All money raised from our behatted bottles and sales of the charity single will help support healthy eating and healthy living projects for older people across the UK this winter.
