Last summer was so lacking in one key element, that we had a go at bottling it ourselves. It proved tricky.

Handing out empty bottles to people off on holiday didn't work; they just filled them with sand and hermit crabs. Leaving empty bottles on sunny windowsills failed too. They got warped out of shape. And getting up for sunrise every day just made us tetchy. So we stopped trying with actual sunshine and came up with a recipe which tastes like it instead. For the times when you need a drop of the bright yellow stuff in your life.

two and ahalf a pressedapples 250ml bottles 1 litre cartons
half a crushed banana
half a crushed
somecoconut milk
a squeeze oforange juice
a touch oflemongrass
