There are 112 berries in this recipe, which if you were to go and pick them all yourself, would be something of a faff.

For starters, you’d need a decent fork as the aforementioned cutlery is great for stripping our Hertfordshire currants from their stalks. Then, once you’d finished forking around, you’d have to nip over to Europe to gently coax some raspberries off the bushes. And that’s before taking all the scratches, purple stained fingers and other potential berry related injuries into account.
