blackberries, raspberries and boysenberries

So, what is a boysenberry?

Well, we’d like to tell you. Our big book of fruit says that it’s a cross between a loganberry (which is itself a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry) and a dewberry (which is similar to a blackberry). Quite confusing. Anyway, the man responsible for this confusion was Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Boysen. Rudy’s full time job was that of a park warden in LA (man). How he found time to invent berries too we don’t know. He broke the mould did that Rudy.
