Blackcurrants

Blackcurrants are a very nice fruit. First made popular by people in the Middle Ages, and then by Ribena, they smell lovely and taste even better. We use nice plump blackcurrants, which we then crush up and stick in these bottles. Of course, the best thing about blackcurrants is that they are stuffed with vitamin C - it only takes six of the little things to give you as much vitamin C as you'd get in a lemon.

Blackcurrants

named after mountains

Our blackcurrants are mainly called Ben, which isn't because their Mum's a bit boring (sorry Ben). They're actually named after mountains in Scotland, and Ben Alder and Ben Tirran are the varieties that we use most. If you've climbed either of those two fine peaks then drop a line to everest@innocentdrinks.co.uk and tell us how it was.
