A few weeks ago our Meera went along to the 54th Annual Spalding Flower Parade, which is the most famous and longstanding event of its kind in the UK.

The theme this year was Food Glorious Food, and around 1.3 million tulip heads were painstakingly pinned to the floats by an army of volunteers.

Here's a lovely wedge of watermelon and a big juicy lemon.

And here's a lady wearing a jacket made entirely of cats. Incredible.

The eagle-eyed Lucy H has spotted that it's Four and Twenty Blackbirds Baked in a Pie. Phew.

There's only two more days to go until Jubilee fever hits the nation. 

If like us you feel slightly overwhelmed by the amount of things left to do - bunting hanging, sandwich making (for your entire street) and you can't seem to find enough teapots to make darjeeling for 300 people, then take a few minutes out of your busy schedule, print out this cheeky Royal Corgi, cut him out and then set him to work on that pile of cucumber finger rolls.

We're very proud to announce that last week innocent won the Footprint Sustainable Sourcing Award. The Footprint Awards are given to businesses who are making a difference to sustainability in the Foodservice industry, and to enter we had to demonstrate how the sourcing of our fruit and veg around the world makes a positive impact on the environment and communities we work with.

Our Philippa was all smiles on the night as she collected the award.  

The Judges were really impressed with the innovation & impact shown in three of our major projects:

1. Spanish Strawberries Water Efficiency project
Taking a partnership approach to reducing water use in the region.

2. Climate adaptation project in India
Helping farmers to adapt to adverse conditions and increase the productivity of Alphonso mangoes.

3. Smallholder mango farming project in Rajapuri
Helping farmers to improve their agricultural practices and marketing approach in order to increase their income.

We're very lucky to have such dedicated fruit and sustainability teams who make projects like this possible. Thanks guys.
