The cake's reassembly is now finished. It's not as much an exact
copy of our
10th birthday cake as I'd imagined, but it's still very grand.
And there's Christian in the background, he's six foot eight so you
can't see the top of his head (it's not a flat
top).
It's the fifth and final day of our online AGM and we'd love to
know all your thoughts about the very latest thing in our world:
our new squeezies
for kids.
We have just launched our new fruit snack for kids - innocent
squeezies - and we’re really keen to know what you think about
them. Each squeezie is a tubeful of pure fruit puree. Each one
contains whole fruit and absolutely nothing else, no bits and no
rubbish. They’re perfect for putting in lunchboxes and can also
be frozen. At the moment they are available in 2 recipes;
pineapples & mangoes /
strawberries & raspberries. Each squeezie is 40g and they
are available in packs of 6 for £1.99
What do you think of the idea?
What do you think of the
packaging?
What do you think of the recipes?
We always like to be on the front foot so we’re already
looking for the next recipe to add to the range. We’ve had a few
ideas:
Peach, nectarine and apricot
Apple, pear and blackcurrant
Banana, coconut and pineapple
Cherry and blackberry
Which one of these sounds the most
appealing?
Which one of these do you think your kids
would prefer?
Do you have any other comments about the range
or recipes?
Just leave your say as a comment on this blog post below. We'll
be reading each and everyone of your thoughts and will then add the
results to everything we pick up from our drinkers coming to the
AGM. And
look out for a lot of AGM blog
posts, twitter
updates and videos over the next
few days. Thanks for all your thoughts and rolling your sleeves up
and getting involved.
We say just. We've actually been talking about writing one for
the last few years but it took us a bit longer than we anticipated
(lots of looking for old photos, trying to remember everything
that's happened and what not).
Anyways, we finished it just after Christmas and it's now
available in Waterstone's,
Amazon and all the usual places.
In a nutshell, it's the story of our first ten years in business
and is a book for anyone who wants to start their own business,
bring fresh thinking to their current one or has been told their
idea won't work.
After all, innocent is a business that almost didn't happen (we
were turned down by every bank in the land) so we hope by telling
our story we can encourage other people to have a go at doing their
own thing too.
Even if starting a business isn't on your to do list, the book
does a neat job of summing up our first ten years. And there are
lots of pictures. Very important.
You can also watch this little film that the people from
Waterstone's made when they came in for a look round.
