bingo bonus

You might thing we'd tire of talking about our summer bingo card. But no. There's more. First off, we are honoured to announce that it featured in the 'Going Up' section of the Daily Mail today. It's officially hip, alongside camo tents and eco-travelling. Apparently Cristal champagne and holidaying abroad are 'Going Down'. You have been warned.

Russell posted some great pictures from a sunny weekend at the seaside on the Flickr bingo group. His photos are better than the ones on the bingo card itself. Very embarrassing.

And finally, we're getting ready to unleash the bingo card properly in the next couple of weeks. About one million of the little blighters will be appearing in newspapers very soon. Make sure the paperboy doesn't pinch yours.

Yup, he's got the look - ice white legs, the classic men's sandal and a beard that says I'm on a three month holiday and no-one's going to stop me. Say hello to Conor, the favourite son of Fruit Towers, who left the company last week to return to his home in Oz, via a three month cycling holiday across Europe. Conor is modelling the latest in urban transport chic, and is outside Grass Towers, our innocent office in Amsterdam, where he called in to stock up on provisions before heading off into the great beyond. Ride safe mon ami, and stay true.

we are 100

We just got a bit bigger. Heather arrived on Monday without quite knowing that she'd be so special, but she's our 100th full time employee. There was a posh lunch out in the garden to celebrate reaching three digits - Rich stood on the table and did a speech, and Heather is at the front wearing a black vest.

Somebody called Fatima posted a comment yesterday asking "how about an entry that tells us how you guys started???"

Or if that doesn't give you enough details, give me a call on 020 8600 3952. Stories are much better when you get to tell them, even if it's on the phone.

international visitors

On our labels we've always said to people that if they're passing Fruit Towers and they fancy popping in, they should. If you think about it, it makes sense - we get to meet the people who make our business possible, and they come of their own accord (they're not herded in like some weird market research session). We get to say thanks and maybe we get to find out what they like and what they don't like, about our drinks and the wider world. So we get the chance to make our drinks even better, according to what these innocent drinkers tell us. We've been used to this happening in London for a while but it's new to the people in our Amsterdam office. Yesterday they got their first ever international visitors. As Niels (our creative bod in Amsterdam) says:

"Nicolas and Marco came all the way from Cologne to take a look at our office. They love our smoothies and drove 260 kilometers just to come and see us. Now, that is pretty cool if you ask me. So of course we gave them some smoothies and talked about Germany, the World Cup and why our smoothies are not being sold in Germany yet. And after some hugs from me and kisses from Marijntje off they went again, back to smoothieless Germany."
