Hello and welcome to Knitter's Corner.

In this cosy nook, you should find everything you need to get you started.

From instructions on how to knit, to beginners and advanced patterns, tips on how to crochet, and a kit to help you form your own little knitting group. We'll also be adding new patterns each week so keep checking back every now and then.

The good news is that these little hats simple and quick to make. The bad news is that knitting them can be addictive.

Consider yourself warned.

Once you're done, just pop your hats in an envelope (along with your name, address and number of hats knitted), and send them to us by Friday 14th October:

P.S We always love to hear your stories, so if you have any interesting tales behind the making of your hats, then please pop in a note. Good luck and thanks again for helping out.

Remember, for every behatted bottle sold, 25p will be donated to Age UK to help make winter warmer for older people. So the more hats you knit, the more people you'll be helping.

Once we've collected all the hats, we'll pop them in our bottles and you'll be able to admire your handiwork (and others) in-store at Sainsbury's from 2nd November and Boots from 9th November.
