a unique look into this year's AGM (from your head)

For our past two AGMs, we've reported on the day's activities through our blog and twitter feed. But this has always been from our point of view, so we thought it would be interesting to give people a feel for how the day looks from an actual attendee's eyes. So we're going to make a consumer cam this year. You can follow it live on Saturday 22nd May 2010 from about 10am onwards (the actual AGM starts about 12 mid-day).

The AGM consumer cam is something that one of our AGM attendees can wear for the day. The innovative contraption will take pictures at regular intervals and upload them straight to a special place on the internet as a live online archive of the day. Catching the train to Fruit Towers in the morning, walking up the drive, being part of the AGM and then heading home after (with a pocketful of cake).

We've got the camera, we've got the hat. All we need now is an AGM to point it at.


We're working with our friends at the Really Interesting Group to create something quite special. Below is the current technical drawing of the vision so we've still got quite a way to go on it yet. We figure that the journey of making it will be quite interesting in itself though, so we'll be posting regular updates on how it's going right here and via our blog and twitter. So keep your eyes peeled.
